Week #87 Taastrup

Hey fam fam!!! So mom will be so proud of my shopping skills! haha! Ill get to that in a sec! And we got another friend on date this week so stay tuned but I do not have too much time....

Taastrup work flow

Elder Erickson and I had a great week! We found four new friends and got another friend on date so things are going really well here in Taastrup. Some of the highlights of last week were contacting a referral from Elder Perkins best friend's mom in Utah. She just lost her husband and we taught her about faith and the Plan of Salvation and she was like you guys need to come back. So that was pretty sweet! Another new friend we got this week was from Henry's baptism. A member brought a 19 year old friend with and Elder Erickson and I hit it off great with him. After the baptism we asked what he thought about it and he loved it! Then we taught him the Restoration on the spot and he loved it! He asked us if we could meet up again so that was way awesome! Another miracle we experienced this week is that we were getting off the S train around 9 30 one night and out of no where Elder Erickson spots Mary Ann who we have been trying to get in contact with for two months. We make an appointment and the next day we teach her about the gospel of Jesus Christ and she accepted to be baptized in the beginning of June!! Our other friends on date are doing pretty well. Raul needs to just get a desire to change. We ate with him and his mom and we talked a lot about the Philippines shout out to Katelynn! The mom doesn't want to hear the message haha she said next time we come and eat Pilipino food lets not talk about religion haha! Yeet! And Andreas should be getting baptized in the next couple weeks. He has come to church four times now. He feels the spirit and he has great young friends from CUV. Elder Erickson and I taught him yesterday right after church and we read 3 Nephi 11 and then we all got down on our knees and prayed and asked if it was true and the spirit was SO strong!! It was a great moment on my mission and Andreas said he could feel so much peace after that. So we are excited for his baptism! We had two friends in church! One was Andreas and the other was Chi who is married to a member and he is from China! We had a lot of eating appointments with members. One we got to go out for Indian food and ice cream and they had two bros from BYU with them and one served in Tahiti so I got all the inside scoop from his mission! And Brother Casper our MTC teacher showed up out of no where to a baptism which was NUTS! We spoke Danish with him and it is crazy how far we have come with our Danish! We also played soccer again which was way fun!

The buy of the year

So one late night Elder Erickson and I were walking on the shopping street in a city called Abertslund which is my favorite city ever to do missionary work in! And so it was like eight at night when all the shops were supposed to be closed but there was one bumping music and so we looked and there was a lot of yellow for sale signs! So we peek in and we see these suits so of course we are going to look! And we saw these Lingbear suits which is a really nice Sweden brand and they usually cost 2500 kroner. BUT they were on sale for 800 kroner!! So they were 70 percent off!!!! And then some bros came and welcomed us to the store opening and gave us Pepsi and then I bought the suit and it is the nicest thing ever! It is navy blue and has stiching all around the suit! So nice I am getting married in that thing! ;) haha and it is crazy because that is the night that we ran into Mary Ann so if we didn't do that we would never have ran into her! Crazy how the Lord works!

So I have no idea what time we are skyping or where..... we will find out and I will write you so you guys know!! I am so stoked to skype you guys!!! Health is great! Just a little tired from all the business and the soccer skills are slowly coming back!haha give me a transfer. A lot of travel is required to hit everyone in the zone! So tuesday to thursday there is a 30 day in the land meeting and every district has at least one person in it and we have to give district meetings this week so we can only do them on Friday so we are going all over Sjælland in one day... haha it will be good! And we get to train the new trainees on finding this thursday because the aps will be in there going home meeting! So we are stoked for that! And the zone is doing great! We had two baptisms last week and a lot more to come! And yea we laugh like a walrus! And the Frederiksberg ward is so big so it is really hard to get to know people so I am just focusing on the young people and investigators! And Andreas is on for the 20th! And could you pray for MAry Ann as well! And Monique is done with her break! There is no date yet but I guess it was her dad who is against the church for some reason... Will I Am is doing good! I was supposed to see him on Thursday but we couldn't get an investigator to CUV so we didn't show up. I totally forgot about that Italian resturant in Seattle! Well I gotta teach a brotha from Nigeria right now so I gotta bounce but I love you guys and see ya on Sunday!!!!

Week 86 Taastrup

HEY FAM!!! Wow it is already May! Time is flying by soooo fast!!! And I love Taastrup, Elder Erickson is so dope, the Zone is doing great, and the short sleeve white shirts are coming out!!!

Taastrup BROs

Taastrup is such a great area! I love it so much! Elder Erickson are so busy but we still managed to find four new friends from not knocking or contacting so that was pretty awesome. This is a pretty cool miracle story. So we were going out to do service and a 18 year old bro asked us for some directions. Then he thought we came from Sweden and then got way pumped when we said we came from America. We ended up teaching him the Joseph Smith story on a bus, got his number, and we are giving him a church tour tomorrow! This young bro is way prepared and it was way cool that he talked to us. Another cool miracle story. Elder Erickson and I were going out one morning to stop by an old investigator from the area book and as we were crossing the street, I realized that I forgot his address so we turned around to go do something else. Right when we turned around, we saw that investigator walking down the street. We flagged him down and we got to know him and taught him the Gospel of Jesus Christ and he agreed to be baptized on the 3rd of June!! Total miracle! He is addicted to smoking and drinking and he really wants to change his life. We stopped by him on Saturday to remind Raul about church and he let us in, and he looked great! He is already smoking less and drinking less! We taught him about living prophets and he loved it! And he came to church on Sunday so he is doing pretty well, we just got to strengthen his faith in Jesus Christ. I learned with him the worth of souls are so great in the sight of God and that God will never give up on his children from Raul. Andreas who is also pn dåbs dato is doing fantastic! He is such a great investigator. When I heard he was a young bro I was like we gotta be chill with him because that is how I taught Carolina, NAdia, and William who all got baptized. So we got a kebab with hiim and just talked to him! And then he brought up the gospel!! We taught him the Restoration last week and it went so well. He is so prepared. We were talking about recognizing the spirit and getting an answer to prayer and he said two weeks ago he said his first ever prayer and after he said, Kære Himmelske Fader, he could feel the spirit so strong!! Romans 8 16!! And he came to institute last week and Jens Andersen taught about Jesus Christ and after they were talking and Jens asked Andreas if he felt that it was true and he said yes! He is getting so many friends from YSA and at church!! So we are way excited to prepare him to baptism. :) We also got to teach Chi who is a member snon member husband the Restoration after service and dinner and it was WAY spiritual! SO we got some really good things going down up here in Taastrup!

Zone Goodness! :)

So Elder Erickson and I got to give the last zone training because of a decision from the First Presidency which is chill. The STLs were supposed to give the whole Plan of Salvation training and we were supposed to talk about the zone goal but... they gave us an extra 25 minutes. Big curve ball.. but no worries we improvised with a role play and talked about the Plan of Salvation. Then we talked about the zone goal. Elder Erickson and I asked how the unity is going in the zone and everyone said it was going great and they love hearing miracle stories and how it is awesome to hear how other missionaries are doing in their work. :) And it really isn't hype, it is that everyone is seeing the Lord's hand in the work and they are seeign the fruits of it. Henry B. Erying promises us if our hearts are united we will be joyful and receive more power and that is exactly what is happening in the zone. We are all united and the Lord is blessing us so much and everyone is feeling the good vibes going around the zone. We made a baptism goal with the zone of 10 this transfer and we wrote names of people who probably will get baptized this transfer and it was over 10 so, so we are way excited to see a lot of baptisms this transfer. And everyone is doing great getting their friends to church. In Frederiksberg on Sunday, there was 10 investigators in church and 6 had a baptismal date! So the work is really moving forward!!

Frederiksberg Welcome

I got to play soccer in Gladsaxe like i did in my first area!!! It was so fun! A lot of the bros remembered me and I got an eating appoitment from it! We played 11 on 11 in freezing spring rain and hail and it was so fun!!! Then I got a call from the bishopric that I get to give a talk the next day... lovley haha! But no worries it was just my testimony on Thomas S. Monson. I got up there and said one thing you guys need to know about me is that I laugh like Elder Hartmann, who just went home and he served in the ward for half a year and we have the same walrus life, and I started laughing and everyone started loosing their minds haha! At FHE last night, a girl told me my talk was the topic of some facebook discussion about my laugh haha! So i am pretty tight with the ward! I shared the Dare to Stand Alone story and said how that helped William in Slagelse and then how the Book of Mormon changes lives and that is what THomas S. Monson promised us if we read the Book of Momon! So I came in with a pretty good bang haha! Oh and a Danish girl who I met at the MTC gave a talk with me so that was way cool and weird that me met at the MTC and then gave talks during the same sacrament meeting in Denmark... crazy! And she gave me a shout out in her talk so that was clutch!! The ward is so awesome I love it so much!!! I think because of my talk we got 6 eating appointments this week so pray that i don't get even fatter haha! ;)

Health has been great! The zone got more than half of all the key indicators in the mission so it is doing very well. I think 25 in church and 14 on date! J is way flakly he burned us even after we confirmed it with him on Tuesday... But if you could pray for Andreas and Raul that would be great! So Monique said she needs a little pause so she can be sure that this is the path she wants to go on... So if you could pray for her too that would be awesome! Andreas said he needed a pause like two weeks ago but now he is back stronger then ever so I am not too worried. I think she will miss the spirit and realize that the gospel is true happiness :) William is doing great. I am going to see him on Thursday at Institute so that will be sweet! HAHAHAHAHA i bet dad looked way hot in his white suit hahahaha that just made my day!! Be careful dad not to distract people from the message of the temple because they will all be focused on you ;) That is awesome the bishopric came when you guys were there and I forgot about DQ! It is sooo good!! Haha yeet! Dad always spits fire on the pulpit ;)  That is awesome Mark Poth is the athletic director at Big Bend and wants to add soccer! Too bad I can't play there that could have been way fun! And lets hope ML goes way clutch in the play offs! I can't believe I am skyping for the last time in two Sundays! Crazy!! Well parents I love you! And a big thing I have been focusing on is not to be prideful! Because of all the success the zone is having we are trying to avoid getting prideful. I like how it says in Lehi's dream that the great and spacious building was built high in the air which means it didn't have a foundation and always in the scriptures it says lifted up in pride. There is no foundation in pride and the prideful one will crumble. So lets remember Ammon's words to his brothers to glory and rejoice in God because of Him, everything is possible! Love You GUYS!!!!!

Week #85 Taastrup

Wow! What a week!!! I have never been so busy and tired on my whole mission haha! But get ready for a pretty wild week full of miracles!!!

Zone Hype!!!

So when Elder Erickson and I found out we were going to be companions, we started going way hard to scheme up a zone goal to get everyone on board with. We started scheming from last Sunday night all the way to 10 15 at night the day before we were going to present it to the zone. So it came, and it was UNITY!!! We want the whole zone to be united and we want members to be united with the missionaries. When we presented this to the different districts we shared what happened in 4th Nephi how there was no contention in the land and how they were seeing miracles, and they were so happy and very blessed! Like it says in 4th Nephi 18 How blessed were they! With an exclamation point and how many times in the scriptures are there exclamation points! So the whole idea of the goal is to get everyone pumped for our investigators through the zone and through the members. And so for eating appointments we are going to teach the Plan of Salvation because that is the focus in the mission right now and President Monson has promised if we teach members the plan of Salvation the mission will get more baptisms and plus we will get better at teaching the Plan of Salvation. And we have a zone prayer list for the zone to pray for every morning. Some scriptures we talked about were Mosiah 27 14, Helaman 3 25-27, 3 Nephi 18 20 so we don't underestimate the power of prayer!! And we started a miracle text list and i kid you not we had like ten different miracles in the zone just yesterday! And we are seeing the fruits of these miracles and unity by having four new people on date and all the people who are on date are way positive so they will be a lot of baptisms this transfer in the zone! And another cool thing is that MLC was all about the Plan of Salvation and companionship unity! Also stake  conference focused a little on missionaries and members united so it is way cool to see that our goal was inspired because that is the focus in the mission and with the members!!

Taastrup Life

So Taastrup is a way bumping place! I haven't talked to so many immigrants in a long while and i love it! We found out that there are some huts in our area so we are going to knock them and find some humble people hahahaha! I am so stoked! We have a little miracle! So A is on baptismal date here and he is 19. Right when he got put on date last week he said he wanted a pause but the zone kept praying for him! Well he texted us out of the blue yesterday and says he wants to keep investigating the church and work towards his date of the 13th of May!!!!! Jo tak!! We just experienced a miracle! We got burned by a bro named Jonathan last week who was way positive and he is sitting right by us in the library right now so we just set an appointment with him! He should be on baptismal date this week! YEET! We have another older Dane named Mikkel who loves American football and has a strong testimony in Christ. He said he really wants to repent and change his life and will get baptized if he finds out it is true! Oh and I got to see C who i did the baptismal interview for! Funny story. So C lives with S her mother in law and they met me like 2 months ago. Well we wanted to see if they still remembered me and so Elder Erickson said I was completely new to Denmark and they were way nice to me and spoke English to me then I spoke Danish with a way American accent and they thought I was new haha! It lasted like 20 minutes until we just broke and started laughing! That was a classic memory! And we taught and ate with C a bro from China who is married to a member the Plan of Salvation and he is a total bro!

I saw a bro from the MTC who is serving in Sweden so that was pretty cool to see each other. He was just going to the temple. And Neil L. Andersen is coming to Denmark in a month!!! We might have a mission conference. He has given Denmark a shout out many times in training videos so we are hoping we can have a mission conference. Health is good just have been way tired from all the traveling. Funny story! We got to Slagelse late for district meeting so we had to take a bus and i never took a bus in Slagelse before and they told me to take the 901. Well before you knew it, Elder Erickson and I were in the middle of Korsør when we had to get off a bus and go the other direction! so that was an adventure. The zone has 13 people on date so that is pretty good! We got around by bus and train but we need a car! They just don't have one for us. And yea Elder Dibble is related to that guy! We had stake conference yesterday so I haven't met the ward yet but I heard it is huge! And M is still going strong. She came to stake conference! W is doing great! I still have been texting him because I have the same phone! I saw him on Thursday and Sunday last week. And Jace looks like a stud! That is a pretty swagin flamigo shirt lolz. And that is awesome you guys are going to be starting in the temple next week! And I will keep on looking for good deals! Elder Erickson and I found this low key suit store with these pretty stylish blue suits for 1000 kroner so that is pretty sweet! And haha i like the tight shirts mom! :) Well I love you family! And can you pray for Andreas and Jonathan in our area every night! That would be awesome! D & C 29: And, as it is written—Whatsoever ye shall ask in faith, being united in prayer according to my command, ye shall receive. I know this is true that if we are all united in pray, with faith, miracles will happen!

#84 Taastrup

I am taking my talents too..... Well I am sadly peacing out of Slagelse and leaving the squad! And I got a lot more responsibility.... stay tuned!!!!! And Monique is getting baptized on May 13th!!!!!

Nykøbing Life!!

So we went on splits with the Nykøbing Elders on Monday and we had family home evening at the Johansens house. I met their son in the MTC who is on Iceland and their other son in Randers and their other kids in Odense when I gave the fireside! So it was way chill and Elder Dibble served there for 6 months so it was a good time! Then Tuesday we contacted and taught an older lady who said she would come to church after we had to explain to her about mulit wives #classic haha then we bounced back to the promised land of Slagelse!

Slagelse Life

We taught Inga this week and she said she knows the Book of Mormon is true, Joseph Smith is a prophet of God, and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the true church but she won't get baptized again... we were way confused and asked her where the Dansk Folk Kirke got their authority and she said from a scripture in the Bible and we explained the laying on of hands and explained church. She called us Saturday night and said she would come but she never showed... oh well! I think she will be baptized this transfer. On Thursday Elder Beck gave his last District Meeting and it was the best district meeting I have ever been to! He put a chair in the middle of the room and said Jesus is sitting there and we had to bear our testimonies to him. One of the most powerful and spiritual times of my mission. We taught Monique in the room a couple hours after and the spirit was still thick! After District Meeting we had a district activity where we had a bonfire and bbqed some hamburgers! We also burned Burt! Haha it isElder Dibble and my teddy bear in the slagelse apartment which has been through a lot... haha! Got some pretty epic pics from it! Then we hustled to the church and taught Monique with William. Another highlight lesson of the mission. So we asked her if she read and she said she did and she brought up why did the spirit command Nephi to slay Laban. I went way hard trying to solve her concern reading the next verse how it is better that one man perish then a whole nation in unbelief.. Then how Soddam and Gommora was destroyed, the people in Noas day were killed... that wasn't sufficient enough... then i brought up how it was around the time of the law of Moses and Laban stole from Nephi and his bros and so buy the law of Moses he should have been put to death so it wasn't unrighteous at all. But that wasn't the answer she wanted either... So we said Isaih's words, Gods ways are higher then our ways. Then we dived in to the Plan of Salvation! It was way spiritual and we just emphasized Jesus Christ and his role in everything and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. After talking about the Atonement we read Alma 7: 11-16 which is a clutch tool of bearing testimony of the Savior, inviting to repent and be baptized and promising blessings. Elder Dibble asked if she would be baptized and she brought up her concerns which were the life changes she would have to make... Clutch that we had William there and he bore testimony how he is more happier and free that he is following the law of Chasity and the Word of Wisdom! Then she said she isn't ready to repent right now and that is where our training from zone training kicked in. And i compared to if my coach said i had a game tomorrow, I am out of shape I havn't shot a basketball religoulsy over a sister mission, but if my coach told me that the game is in 4 weeks and i could practice often, he would be there for me, I would play in four weeks. And we compared it to her baptism and she said yes for the 13th of May!!! After William said she posted on facebook how she just felt the spirit for the first time since China!! And at church I said I would see her at her baptism in a month and she got excited that I am coming back so she is getting baptized!!! Other highlights on Friday we had an easter American sandwhich lunch at Frank's house with two less active members so that was chill. And then we ate with Inga and Inge Liza who are the older ladies we were teaching! Then Saturday we played ping pong for sport because it was pouring rain and ate with William at a way nice Chinese restaurant for one last time!!! SO that was my last couple days in Slagelse!!!

Reed Erickson Round 2

So my new comp is Elder Brennin Erickson from North Ogden Utah and he went to Weber high. He wrestled and played football and we have served around each other a lot on our missions so we are pretty over tight!! And he has been out a little over a year. And the Zealand zones combined so we are zone lords over 36 missionaries!! haha it should be good!!!! We are way stoked! Our scheme is to build some zone unity because we have a huge zone and so that is what we want to focus on. Having everyone pumped for other people's succes and just baptizing people for days! And my home boy Elder Tyler Erickson is AP in my ward so it will be a good time!!! Our area is Taastrup which has the nickname of Bagdad haha! I saw and talked to more foreigners yesterday then my whole time in Slagelse! haha! Oh and I have to bike again so William, Elder Dibble and I had to spend like 2 hours unrusting my bike and getting the lock off because i thought i would never use it again.... So that was fun but I am way stoked to be with Elder Erickson!!!

That is awesome you guys are tempel workers!!! Jealous!! Well that is all the wisdom i got for today. But I know Jesus Christ ressurected and he Lives!! And that his Atonement is Infinite!!!

Week # 83 Slagelse

Jamen davs davs!!! I got my death letter last Monday! Six more months to go that is pretty cra cra!! And we get transfer calls on Saturday which will pretty much tell me how the rest of my mission will pan out... No pressure there haha! Oh and we got a WAY postive YOUNG investigator who will probs get baptized next transfer so get ready!!!

Work Flow and Splits

So we went on splits with the Tåstrup Elders on Wednesday and I got to go with Elder Birch who is a stud! He is in training and he loves sports and the same music I do so we had a great time! I got recapped on all the sports I missed so that was nice and he almost played college football at Bosie State but he ended up getting hurt. We had some good knocking sessions where this old lady who was baptized knew Mormons and tried to give us 50 kroner to buy coffee and tea lol!! Oh and we stopped by I in Korsør and finally got to talk to her after a week and a half because she has been in Falster for the past while for her son in laws retirement party. So we are going to have to push her date back! Then we went do more knocking but it was way awesome to be with a new missionary and give him good old wisdom from a old missionay ;) Training would be soooo fun!!! Then on Thursday we taught K in Kirke Stillinge and tried to teach him and not listen to his stories but it didnt happen haha so we probs won't be coming back to him. He is just caught up on the idea that all religions are trying to get up the mountain and at the end of the day everyone will come back to God..then I asked him why Jesus was baptized and tried to teach him that baptism was the gate way back to the top of the mountain but he wasn't digging it... Then we went up to Kalundborg with Will I Am and taught M. So M was a self referal and she is Canadian but she has lived in Denmark almost her whole life so she is fluent at Danish. So we get to this nice house on the top corner of Zealand and her dad lets us in and he is jsut a normal Canidian bro haha. We waited for M to come all three of us wondering how old she would be and when she came in I thought she was 14... but no worries she ended up being 23! So we asked her how she met the church and she said when she was in China last her for a study abroad she had no friends and knew no one who could speak English... SO she went on Tinder, yes Tinder ;) and swiped on a bro who turns out to be from Canada and he invites her to his church which would be in English. So she goes and it ends up being our church! She goes for the five months she was in Shanghai and loved it! It was her life line and she came to church once here in Slagelse since she has been back and she has read a lot in the Book of Mormon already and watched all of General Conference last weekend before she met us!!! So dope! She knows like all of the doctrine of the church and has Mormon friends all over the world. Talk about a supporting cast right there :) We taught her the Restoration which went well. William bore fire testimony which was awesome! She came to church on Sunday and brought her friend! #alreadydoingmissionarywork So she is really really really postive!! We will try to put her on date this week! The Lord gives me the young people to baptize and I LOVE it! I love working with people my age!!! Blessings!!! Friday we had splits with the office Elders Elder Jensen and Lex. We had a way chill splits and I went with Elder Jensen. We just gooned and talked about life after the mission at BYU and delt Book of Mormons out like candy ;) Then we played Volleyball with like 15 bros from Asia so we are scheeming on them to teach! Oh and I got a hair cut from a bro named Mohammed and he can't really speak Danish or English and he gave me a WAY apostate cut haha! I sent the pic he managed to say sorry at the end haha but everyone is gooning me about it! The worst was in Priesthood haha! On Saturday we ate with Tina a member who is way awesome and helped Frank with a little family history! So the work is going pretty good here!

Zone Conference

So we went to Maglegårds Alle which was my first church building in Ballerup! I think it was exactly a year to the daay that I was last at this church! Crazy how time flies! President and Sister O'Bryant gave some fire trainings on the Plan of Salvation and the why behind everything and the APs trained on baptismal invites. Then we had our interviews with President and he told me I have been a successful missionary and that I might finish my mission training but he doesn't know yet... We will find out on Saturday!!

So no I didn't have to teach for zone conference and William is doing great! Watched more conference with him this week! And we are still scheming on the brother! That sounds like an awesome time in Utah! Jealous! Oh speaking of shopping I saw a sign in the mall while eating Carls Jr of 75 percent off of the whole store so I bought three swaggin' button up shirts! They are way fly! And too bad that Gonzaga lost... next year I guess!! And the one year I finally get the right two teams in the finals I dont even make a bracket! haha! I got the Easter package thanks! The candy was way clutch! And we are planning on going to Frank's house! He is the American who was baptized last year. :) What are you guys doing?? And I will think about the two options.. Number two sounds better right now haha! And that is cool you taught about the law of consencration. I am way pumped to go harder than ever these last 6 months of the mission. I know miracles will happen if I use faith and concencrate myself before the Lord and serve with all my might mind and strength! And the Infinite Atonement book is amazing!! It has strengthened my testimony on jesus Christ sooo much and his Atonement and his infinite love he has for us! His arms are always stretched out for all of us, we just got to do our part and live the Gospel of Jesus Christ! He suffered for us one by one just like in 3 Nephi he had the Nephites touch his nail marks one by one because he loves us!!! I love you fam!!!!

Week #82

Happy April Everyone!!!!! And I will be on a plane exactly six months from
today so today is when 6 months to sexy officially begins!!! ;)

*It was a good run.... *

Well I made it over a month without being sick so I mean that was a good
run but don't worry mom, it wasn't Vertigo!! We got a bad cold which caused
tiredness and headaches so we were out Tuesday, Wednesday and half of
Thursday. But the highlights of that would be on Tuesday William telling us
we should get some fresh air and shoot some hoops with him so we came and
his 15 year old brother was there and I guess he is a way good street
baller. Well even though I was sick I balled the bro one on one and did
work haha! So now William's bro respects us and doesn't think William
joined some church with weird bros but that we are normal so that was good!
And on Wednesday Elder Dibble and I looked through our apartment and
collected about 120 krones worth of coins haha and went to buy a pizza, ice
cream, and soda because we were going crazy so that was way clutch! Then
Thursday came around and with our 30 minutes all day in the area of finding
we got a new friend up in Kalundborg which is North Zealand and she is a
way old women who thought we were j dubs and tried to wreck us but she took
a Book of Mormon and is down to read from it and learn more about Jesus
Christ. Then we had a pretty legendary eating appoitment where we talked
about Harry Potter in Danish which was nuts haha and heard how this couple
got engaged and I guess the bro set the marriage date even before they met,
kissed and dated lolz! Pretty legendary! And our young bro M came to
general conference so that was dope!

*København or some European Airport......*

Well Elder Dibble and I had District meeting this week and splits with the
APs so we got to go to Copenhagen on Friday. So District meeting was all
about church and how we could get more bros into church. The Sister
Training Leaders focused on the how and we did the why. We should the vid
That They Do Always Remember Him and we trained on when we invite our
friends to church to explain why we personally come to church and make it
personal. Because the culture here is pretty against coming to church and
have a different idea of church then we do so I think we are going to see
the fruits from this training in the future! On Friday like I said we went
to Copenhagen and the APs told us to take the train all the way to the
Central Station because they had a surprise for us ;) That ended up being
the new mission car which was a HUGE ford silver tank haha! Then I went
with Elder Bennet because it will be the last splits for elder dibble and
Hartmann together and they were comps for three months. So Elder Bennet and
I had a three hour contacting sesh in front of us... The rumors were that
contacting with the APs was the worst thing ever and no one will talk to
you.. Well we taught 90 percent of the time and contacted like 10!! It was
so sweet!! And the reason I said or some European Airport is because we
pretty much only spoke English to the bros we talked to because they were
from Canada, Mexico, Thailand, Iceland, USA, Germany, and Netherlands!!! So
crazy! We gave out like four books in the time. The bro from Canada was way
dope and is Baptist and down to learn more and the bro from the Netherlands
was so dope!! We were talking for like 20 minutes and then we sat down and
taught him and talked with him for like an hour! He was the happiest young
bro I have ever talked to and was way interested in our lives. WE got his
email and we are going to stay in touch with him so that is awesome! Then
Saturday we gave the other District meeting on Amager which is right by
Copenhagen and then found in the sisters area there because they needed
some help. So Elder Bennet and I knocked some college place which was ight.
We had a way long chat with a basketball bro who goes up in Neuro Science
and tried to complex religion way too much. After the hour chat he wouldn't
take a book... I was a little puzzled I mean what does anyone have to lose
to read the book of Mormon and pray about it?? Only so much to gain! So
that was spilts! I was way exhausted after 5 hours of finding but it was
worth it!!

Conference was so FIRE!! Every talk was so clutch! And we watch Sunday
morning at a members and they grilled tenderloin for us! So that was fun! I
loved how the prophet with the few minutes he had talked about charity and
reading the Book of Mormon everyday! So important! And I loved Elders
Bragg, President Neilsens, Elders Bendar, Holland, Gabbin, Ballards.
Andersens talks!! haha! And my favorite was President Uchtdorf's about
leadership!!! Everything was soo good!'

And that sounded so fun going to Utah for Conference! And you guys could
meet Nicks girl ;) And I loved all the pics! And good to hear from Nick!
And I am not pranking I am getting pranked haha! ELder Erickson and Smith
pranked me sooooo hard on April fools day! It was one for the books! Nåh I
totally forgot about Cody! And tight Euro pants for the win! And for flying
home I am cool with whichever! What would you guys prefer??? And I need to
repent and cheer for Gonzaga tonight!!  Have a good week and lets overcome
the world as Elder Andersen taught us and not hide our light under a
bushel!! Love you fam!!!
